LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT, MICHAEL SIEMER

OSIsoft customers, partners and community,

As you know, OSIsoft prides itself in the strength and character of our PI System community. For 30 years, PI World has been the best way to bring the community together and for us to fully engage and promote sharing and learning through rich conversations and face-to-face interactions.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 worldwide emergency has created undeniable risk and concern around personal contact and travel. Because this event’s success depends on our ability to network and fully experience all that PI World has to offer, we feel it is in the community’s best interest to not host PI World San Francisco as planned in late March.

This decision is difficult but necessary. We were very much looking forward to celebrating OSIsoft’s 40th anniversary with the people who have collaborated with us over the years. However, your well-being and the well-being of our employees will always be our top priority.

In the spirit of keeping the whole community connected, we are exploring other platforms to share our amazing customer stories, expand learning opportunities, and keep information flowing with one another. Thank you for trusting in us to find the solutions that will best serve you while ensuring we are able to deliver the value and experiences you have come to expect from OSIsoft. We will be in touch with more details in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, we continue to prepare for an expanded PI World EMEA in Amsterdam in late October. This will be another opportunity to reconvene for collaboration, education and camaraderie.

We appreciate your patience, understanding and input as we navigate COVID-19 concerns worldwide and in our communities. We will continue to monitor this situation and regularly post updates to the PI World website.

If you are registered and/or sponsoring PI World San Francisco, our events team will be reaching out to you directly with more details.

We know there is simply no substitute for the rich face-to-face conversations that take place at PI World. Our hope is that this situation will resolve, and we can resume our valuable community gatherings soon.

Sincerely,

Michael
