Description
OSIsoft Message Format (OMF) is a common message structure leveraged across the OSIsoft ecosystem - on the edge, the enterprise, and in the cloud - enabling seamless transfer of your data to any part of your PI infrastructure. All OSIsoft systems accept OMF, enabling developers to build next-generation applications that seamlessly write data to each system. Join us to learn more about OMF and how it can address your data connectivity needs for different hardware platforms, operating systems, data sources, and OSIsoft systems. Our development environment in this lab is a raspberry pi, which is yours to take home and experiment with on your own.

This lab contains exercises to provide insight into OMF application development, so a general understanding of developer technologies like JSON, REST, and Python is recommended.
