PI Enabled Multi-Cloud Data Pipelines for AI and Analytics (EOT, Oxy)
Large multi-cloud integration of PI :
* Sharing best Practices and avoid pitfalls (Avoiding Data loss).
* Data transport and transformation Challenges (Frequencies, intervals).
* Enabling fast prototyping for optimization engineers that leverage plant data for critical business decisions.

Challenges in collecting, managing and manipulating complex data sets in the digital oil field (Tendeka)
The desire to move the industry to implement the digital oil field has never been greater and new technologies are being announced daily. From edge computing devices to artificial intelligence and machine learning, the amount of data and analysis capabilities for the operator continues to grow. But deploying a solution to take advantage of this digital data can come with an abundance of technical and logistical challenges.
This presentation will focus specifically on how managing the movement and volume of data in smart and efficient ways, coupled with the right technology choices, can help create a successful implementation. It will provide some insight on how one particular solution overcame the logistical and technical challenges in integrating multiple systems not originally designed to work together, to ultimately provide a near real-time analysis and modeling solution on new and long-standing distributed temperature sensing (DTS) installations.

How the OSIsoft PI System Is Enabling the Oil and Gas Industry to Operate Safely and Comply With Government Regulations (Diamond Offshore Drilling, Deepwater Subsea)
In the critical moments following the Deepwater Horizon disaster, the initial response teams were hindered by being unable to effectively troubleshoot the Blowout Preventer (BOP) due to a lack of understanding of the final state of the control system. On April the 29th 2019, The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) mandated that any oil rigs drilling in the Gulf of Mexico must actively monitor the subsea BOP and control system in real-time. In addition, the new regulations require that all companies must track, trend and report on equipment failures, abnormalities and overall system health. Utilizing the OSIsoft PI System and various solutions from the OSIsoft Partner EcoSphere, Deepwater Subsea has developed the industry first Janus24 real-time monitoring platform that combines real-time data, compliance verification inspections, and asset life cycle management in one ecosystem that allows oil and gas companies to operate safely and comply with government regulations.
