As time has progressed, more and more enterprise-level customers have adopted the PI Enterprise Agreement licensing model. With this change, more users now have the freedom and tools to innovate new analyses, event frames, and dashboards to fit their needs. However, along with the growing trend of PI System usage, there has been a parallel growing trend of untracked changes to standard calculations and visualizations. As expected these untracked changes are often the cause of undesirable performance issues and occasional impacts to data quality and/or reliability. Therefore, it is paramount that enterprise customers focus on implementing a sustainable model to govern their PI system configuration, analyses, notifications, event frames, and visualizations built within the system.
