Dan Colvin is a Data Scientist on the Energy & Engineering team in the Facilities Management department at UC Davis. The Energy & Engineering team's primary mission is to save energy in campus buildings and educate students, staff, and faculty on how the campus uses energy.
In his current role, Dan builds descriptive and predictive models to measure and verify energy project savings, provide insight with energy forecasts, and optimize traditional work processes using automated workflows built with Python.
