Jonathan Alexander is the Manufacturing Data Analytics Leader within Albemarle’s global Operational Excellence group. He began his career at Albemarle in Maintenance, as an Instrument and Electrical Engineer, then has spent the majority of his career as an Operations Engineer for both the Hydroprocessing Catalyst Plant in Bayport, TX and the Aluminum Alkyl plants in Pasadena, TX, and recently as a TICA Engineer (Technology Implementation for Competitive Advantage). In his current role, he has been focused on powering the potential of people by changing Albemarle’s culture around Manufacturing Data Analytics, an integral part of their journey towards Digital Transformation. Mr. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Houston in Clear Lake.

In 2018, Eleonora joined the Reservoir Department focusing exploiting Big Data and IIOT technologies in Digital Transformation ongoing process . She is the focal point for the adoption and diffusion in RESERVOIR Dep. of Real Time data and analytics developments, core of digital solutions. She holds BS degrees in Information Technology at the Pisa University. Today she is passionate about developing and implementing Big Data and IIOT solutions products.

Currently Lead Architect for Operational Applications in Newcrest Mining, tasked with simplification and standardisation of mining application portfolio. Prior to this role, spent two years developing solution architecture framework to support data science initiatives at Newcrest, including the development of the IoT Edge archirecture utilising PI data for running machine learning algorythms whose outputs are used in process optimisation and predicting asset failure.

Jane Arnold is an Executive Vice President and the Head of Global Process Control Technology at Covestro since 2017. Arnold joined the Bayer group in 2005 at the Baytown, Texas production site. She has a degree in Mathematics and 30 years of experience in Process Control Technology. Her responsibilities include all systems, instrumentation and electrical power that run Covestro production facilities at over 30 sites globally. Her major focus is to improve Digitalization in Manufacturing with a goal of developing a cognitive digital plant.

Kevin Baker is an automation engineer at Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has 18 years of experience working with DCS systems, including DeltaV and Provox. For the past two years, Kevin has also been an OSISoft PI administrator. Kevin has vast expertise in these areas, including software development, hardware platforms, standardization, and managing patching and upgrades. Kevin is now working on implementing digital transformation initiatives at his site.

David Ballenghien is a lead researcher at Duke University, pushing science on supercritical water oxidation as part of the Gates Foundation sponsored research on sanitation for the developing world. He previously worked as a consultant in an EPC firm in France and before that, he spent 4 years as a R&D engineer for a waste treatment startup. David holds a Master in chemical engineering from ENSTA Paris in France.
His current passions include blacksmithing, comics, learning about American plants species while hiking, and tackling the global waste issue.

Richelieu Barranco is currently working as Industrial Process Manager for FiberLean Technologies Ltd. as part of a global team which is working in a a very exciting, innovative, and fast-paced project to develop and optimise the processes for new, high value products, mainly targeting the paper industry although have recently diversify into other new applications. The project represents a new field of knowledge on mineral/materials process engineering and has now moved to full commercialisation with four plants currently in operation. The work involved close collaboration with technical teams based in various parts of the world.

Part of this program includes the development of microgrids and rapid installation of electric vehicle charging stations at selected sites in California. Seth is also helping lead the effort for Kaiser Permanente to achieve carbon neutrality by 2020.

Martin Bryant has been working with PI since 1990 and closed his private consulting practice helping customers with SQC/SPC, networks, and PI in 2003 to join OSIsoft. After spending the first five years of his work at OSIsoft doing very technical PI software installations and migrations, in 2008 Martin began to focus exclusively on customer value - including teaching, coaching and other forms of application guidance. With the assistance of others he was the primary creator of the "PI AF Jumpstart workshop" and some of his curriculum work effects every public class OSIsoft teaches and several internal ones. Martin lives outside of Philadelphia in the United States.

Luca holds a BSc in Energy and a MSc in Petroleum Engineering cum laude from Politecnico of Milan. He completed his background with two Exchange Programs in TU Delft and NTNU, awarded with ENI scholarship. After graduating, he joined Exxon Mobil as a field process engineer. He moved to ENI E&P as production engineer in 2015, working on production optimization and development of field exploitation strategies, using advanced integrated models, algorithms and big data analytics. In 2018 he moved to Eni South-Italy BU, as deputy field manager of a giant onshore oilfield. He is currently SPE Italian Section Program Chairman.
