Join us and fellow educators, researchers, industry collaborators, and OSIsoft partners for the 2018 OSIsoft Academic Symposium. This year's event features two dynamic and collaborative sessions: Industry Innovation (AM Session) and Workforce Development (PM Session).
 
Engage with Industry, Academia, and the OSIsoft Community to discuss the pressing topics of the day: 
  • Share experiences and collaborate with Industry to help drive research and innovation. 
  • Share views on the needs around next generation of workforce development. 
  • Understand how OSIsoft's Cloud-Based Academic Community System can advance education outcomes. 
  • Network with industry and attend the Preparing the Next Generation of the Engineering Workforce Workshop. 
  • Learn how the PI System helps create a Living Lab with campus facilities & operations data. 
  • Hear from leaders who have used the PI System to motivate and support both institutes and large-scale research projects.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION FORUM

Women in Tech Luncheon: 12:00-1:30 pm | Diversity & Inclusion Keynote & Panel: 2:00-3:00 pm | Breakout Sessions: 3:30-5:00 pm

In 2018, OSIsoft is expanding our Women’s Networking event into a half-day focused on the importance of Diversity & Inclusion in healthy workplaces and successful digital transformations. Following the diversity panel, we will host two breakout sessions (included with conference registration) designed to give you the tools to build and further Diversity & Inclusion in your workplace. Come for all or part of the agenda!
 
Breakout Session A: “Managing for Diversity and Inclusion” (3:30-5:00 pm)
Join us for a highly interactive session and contribute to the discussion around people management, professional development and change management with emphasis on diversity and inclusion. 
 
Engage with attendees from all industries to discuss the following topics:
  • Managing for diversity and inclusion 
  • How to manage the age gap in the workplace
  • How to hire, engage, and retain millennials 
  • How to manage global and diverse teams and overcome challenges of communication
 
 
 
Breakout Session B: “Raising Awareness around Diversity and Inclusion” (3:30-5:00 pm)
This session will be an interactive workshop on topics that range from addressing workplace culture, to dealing with unconscious bias, to improving team dynamics and cultural awareness. 
 
You should walk away from this session with:
  •  An understanding of unconscious bias in the workplace and the need for inclusivity
  •  An action plan to start addressing diversity and inclusion to take back to your own company

This is a targeted event open to OSIsoft Partners and Potential Partners. Registration for the Partner Meeting is handled through your conference registration. When registering for the Users Conference, it will ask you “Do you plan on attending the Monday Partner Meeting?” To attend, please select “yes.”

Digital Transformation is starting to be recognized as a priority enterprise objective within many leading companies. The challenges in the pursuit of this vision are often related to quantifying the value opportunity and defining a comprehensive strategy for success. This session will introduce participants to OSIsoft’s perspective on the Digital Transformation journey, highlight a best practice customer example of success, and share OSIsoft methodologies and services that can be leveraged to initiate your own company journey. This is an invite only session.

The First Time Attendee presentation is geared towards those who have never attended an OSIsoft Users Conference in the past. Be welcomed by OSIsoft executives and hear how best to navigate the event and its rich agenda! The presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A session.

In addition, the Meet & Greet reception in the Continental Ballroom will open an hour early for "first time attendees" only to provide the opportunity for networking and discussing your event goals with one another before the fun begins!
